SecondSource is run by an engineer with a decade of experience in hyperscaler AI. We write without a byline — credibility here comes from verifiable evidence, not titles: every claim links to its primary source, we work exclusively from public information, and corrections are made in the open.
Our imagined reader is someone who has to make decisions inside the AI industry — the directors, PMs, senior engineers, and executives at hyperscalers, chipmakers, frontier labs, the application layer, energy and infrastructure, and capital markets. We measure every insight against one test: would a reader at that altitude change a decision after reading it?
