Ornn: B200, H200 rents up 20%, top list; one source
On Ornn's transaction index, B200 and H200 rental prices rose more than 20% in a month and passed a provider's list price, while H100 lagged
Our AI analysis, unconfirmed: On Ornn's single index, B200 and H200 deal prices sit above Nebius's list price, and the index's sample isn't disclosed Check back 2026-12-31

Why it matters: Buyers who budget B200 and H200 rentals against provider list prices may be underestimating what completed deals now cost. H100 deals still sit below list. The evidence so far is one index, Ornn's.
Ornn's GPU rental-price index, built from completed deals, put B200 at US$9.70 per GPU-hour on October 25, up 20.65% in a month; H200 at US$6.30, up 24.02%; and H100 at US$3.03, up 6.32% (Ornn, 2026-10-25). By SecondSource's arithmetic, B200 sits about 14% above Nebius's US$8.50 on-demand list price (Nebius pricing page) and about 18% above Uvik's October 7 median of US$8.19 (Uvik). Uvik's median is 18 days older, so part of that gap may be the rise in between. Transaction prices come from Ornn alone.

Judgment update: SecondSource's September 18 issue judged that GPU tightness sits in newly signed short leases and doesn't show up in public prices. That call rested on CoreWeave's self-reported price increases, not on the multiple withdrawn in today's correction. Ornn's transaction prices are public, and its B200 and H200 readings now sit above list prices. That contradicts the "doesn't show up in public prices" half of the call. Ornn's home page doesn't say whether these deals are short or long leases, so the first half can't be judged this time. Our read: at least among the deals Ornn records, list price is not a ceiling on B200 and H200 rents. H100 rose only 6.32% on Ornn's index, and its US$3.03 transaction price is below Nebius's US$4.50 list price. Only one index provider supports this reading, so the old call stands as written. The counter-evidence is logged against it. The next thing to watch is whether Silicon Data or getdeploying rises more than 10% in the same direction. getdeploying is a public index that takes the median of each provider's list prices. What would prove this wrong: if Ornn's B200 index falls back below Uvik's US$8.19 list-price median by December 31 (an observation window SecondSource set), transaction prices no longer sit above list, and October was a brief peak.
