Greptile raises US$50 million; its usage is self-reported

AI code-review company Greptile announces a US$50 million Series B at a US$750 million valuation, led by Menlo Ventures. Greptile automatically reviews pull requests and runs tests for engineering teams. Greptile self-reports reviewing more than 1% of the new pull requests opened on GitHub each day (Greptile, 2026-10-19). Deedy Das, an investor at lead investor Menlo Ventures, writes that code review inside an organization is a "more context-bound task than an intelligence-bound" one. The hard part, in Das's account, is a change in one service breaking an assumption another service depends on. Das also says reviewing with a frontier-model harness can cost more than US$20 per review. Greptile's pricing isn't public (Deedy Das, 2026-10-19). How we checked →

Concept illustration: on a pale blue-grey background, a large white cylinder tilted on a stand at left pours a wide stream of large orange-red discs, while two smaller white cylinders behind it pour two thinner streams of smaller grey discs, all falling into an open white box lettered SERIES B at front centre, where the discs pile up. On the left stands a tent card lettered MENLO VENTURES with an orange and dark-navy angular mark; at right is a laptop whose screen is headed CODE REVIEW above grey lines and a speech bubble, with a tent card lettered GREPTILE and a green four-petal mark standing to the laptop's right and slightly forward, and a stack of papers printed with grey lines at bottom right.
